{"id":202831,"date":"2024-01-15T14:29:05","date_gmt":"2024-01-15T13:29:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/group-gac.com\/?p=202831"},"modified":"2024-01-16T10:19:53","modified_gmt":"2024-01-16T09:19:53","slug":"reglementation-europeenne-augmentation-du-montant-des-aides-de-minimis-a-300-000-e","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/group-gac.com\/en\/european-regulations-increase-de-minimis-aid-ceiling-to-e300000\/","title":{"rendered":"European regulations: de minimis aid ceiling raised to \u20ac300,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"202831\" class=\"elementor elementor-202831\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4cb31d3 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"4cb31d3\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b8fab1 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"1b8fab1\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0c09d6e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0c09d6e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>On December 13, the European Commission adopted a <strong>new de minimis regulation<\/strong>. <strong>The regulations adopted in mid-December came into force on January 1, 2024 and will remain in force until December 31, 2030.<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6b09917 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6b09917\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What types of aid and companies are affected by the new de minimis aid regulation? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dcdee24 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dcdee24\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The treaty <strong>does not specify the list of aid subject to the de minimis rule, which will be published as every year in the near future.<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The treaty specifies that it concerns <strong>all companies, whatever their size<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2f5f172 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2f5f172\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What is the new de minimis aid ceiling? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-655c149 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"655c149\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Article 3.2 of the Treaty states that <strong><em>\"the total amount of de minimis aid granted per Member State to a single undertaking may not exceed EUR 300,000 over any three-year period.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p>As a reminder, the previous treaty stipulated that aid received up to December 31, 2023 could not exceed \u20ac200,000.<\/p><p>Also, as of January 1, 2026, a central directory will be set up to reduce the reporting burden on companies.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ff7c31e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ff7c31e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Reminder: what is de minimis aid?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-80f902b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"80f902b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The de minimis mechanism is a European rule that allows states to grant small amounts of public aid without prior notification to the European Commission.
