In these times of budget restrictions, it is essential to identify the most appropriate public funding<\/a> continuously accessible. In addition to the usual i-Lab competition<\/a> and i-Nov<\/a>there are several Bpifrance grants that can be mobilized on an ongoing basis, <\/strong>depending on the maturity of your company, the nature of your project and your equity capital.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Startups less than a year old: grants to kick-start innovation<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Young innovative companies can take advantage of special schemes to finance the initial stages of their projects:<\/p>

  • French Tech Emergence grant (BFT)<\/strong>
    • For start-ups with a research, development and innovation project less than a year old.<\/li>
    • Maximum project budget: \u20ac70k (duration 12 to 36 months).<\/li>
    • Minimum equity requirement: \u20ac20k.<\/li>
    • Assistance in the form of 50 k\u20ac grant<\/strong> with an intervention rate of 70 %.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
    • French Tech Deeptech grant (BFTE)<\/strong>
      • For breakthrough innovation projects resulting from research work (public or private laboratory).<\/li>
      • Required equity capital: \u20ac20k.<\/li>
      • Assistance in the form of 90 k\u20ac grant<\/strong> with an intervention rate of 70 %.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>

        Please note: in Paris, these subsidies are replaced by the Paris Innovation Fund (FPI)<\/strong>which offers a maximum subsidy of \u20ac30,000 for start-ups under three years of age incubated in an accredited structure.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        Start-ups over one year old and SMEs: financing to accelerate development<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        More mature companies can access schemes adapted to their stage of development and the nature of their innovation:<\/p>

        • Innovation Grant<\/strong>
          • For R&D and innovation projects.<\/li>
          • Maximum project budget: \u20ac100k (12 to 36 months).<\/li>
          • Equity at least equivalent to the amount of aid requested (\u20ac30k to \u20ac50k).<\/li>
          • Assistance in the form of 50 k\u20ac grant<\/strong>50 % (up to 70 % for the French Tech axis).<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
          • Innovation Advance<\/strong>
            • For innovation projects with identified hazards.<\/li>
            • Help in the form of recoverable advance<\/strong> from 50 k\u20ac to 3 M\u20ac (up to 50 % of the project budget, capped at equity).<\/li>
            • Payment in two instalments, project duration 36 months maximum.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
            • Deeptech development aid<\/strong>
              • For breakthrough innovations before their industrial and commercial launch.<\/li>
              • Mixed aid : 60 % in subsidies and 40 % in recoverable advances<\/strong>up to \u20ac2 million and covering up to 45 % of eligible expenditure.<\/li>
              • Project duration: 36 months maximum, with deferred repayment for up to 36 months.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
