CRM for beginners

The Business Reporting (CRM) is a report issued by social security bodies to employers following the transmission of their Déclaration Sociale Nominative (DSN). It is referred to as a automated" system with a structured approach to error feedback with the need associated with a correction by companies.

This document plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of the data expected by public authorities.

What are the main features of the DSN CRM?

The DSN CRM completes the pre-filing checks. It should not be confused with the Anomaly Report (BAN) and the Certificate of Conformity (CCO), which are reports produced when the DSN is sent and which carry out structural and standard checks (Siret check, presence of mandatory DSN blocks or headings, etc.).

The conformity of these reports does not prejudge the conformity of the business content of the DSN.

CRM includes :

  • Data presented as anomalous and the nature of the anomaly,
  • If applicable, the proposed correction,
  • The amount of contributions due after taking into account the correction.

In the event of errors, the CRM details the anomalies identified, enabling the employer to correct them quickly.

Last but not least, the CRM serves as proof that the employer has fulfilled his social declaration obligations, which is essential in the event of an audit or dispute.

What are the benefits of CRM?

CRMs enable responsiveness, data reliability and traceability.

  • Reactivity By receiving the CRM quickly, the employer can make any necessary corrections without delay, thus avoiding adjustments or, in the long term, a replacement DSN.
  • Data reliability CRM guarantees that the information transmitted to social security bodies is accurate, thus ensuring optimum management of employee entitlements (contributions, benefits, etc.), accurate collection of employer contributions and entitlement to employer exemptions/reductions.
  • Traceability CRM offers complete traceability of the declaration process, which is important for accounting and regulatory compliance.

The DSN Business Report is an essential tool that secures the social declaration process, giving employers visibility over the status of their declarations and helping them maintain constant compliance.
