Christophe Boytchev is President of G.A.C. Group, an international consulting firm dedicated to innovation, performance and competitiveness.
A graduate of the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA Lyon), INSEAD and the London Business School, Christophe began his career in 1992 as Head of Operations and Outsourcing at Matra Communications, then held positions as Operations Director, Business Unit Director, and Services Sales Director at Nortel Networks, Spie Communications for 9 years and SFR before joining G.A.C. Group in 2017.
Christophe's strategy is based on a vision of transformation and positive, lasting impact for the benefit of its customers, employees and partners.

Financing and managing innovation
Established in Brazil since 2009, G.A.C. Group helps companies improve their performance through services and innovation tools.
"Lei do Bem" The Brazilian Research Tax Credit
In Brazil, companies benefit from the "Lei do Bem", a tax incentive similar to the French CIR, which allows investments in innovation to be deducted up to 34 % from corporate income tax and the social contribution on net profit. However, unlike the CIR, it is not limited to radical innovation, since any investment aimed at progressively improving a process, product or service is potentially eligible for the Lei do Bem.
At the same time, Brazil offers other sources of support for innovation, giving companies access to advantageous credit lines to carry out their research and development projects.
These include Finep, the equivalent of France's BPI, which plans to release 40 billion R$ (around 7 billion euros) for technology and innovation by 2026, including 7 billion R$ (around 1.2 billion euros) in 2023, and BNDES, in partnership with Embrapii, which has allocated 145 million R$ (around 26.6 million euros) to support Brazilian industrial innovation.
