Working closely with economic and institutional players, AD'OCC is committed to enhancing the attractiveness of the region and boosting local employment. A true strategic lever, AD'OCC works to boost the competitiveness and innovation of regional companies. Customer testimonial
The feedback from Franck BERTHUAD'OCC
Hello, I'm Franck Berthu, Head of Innovation at AD'OCC, the economic development agency for the Occitanie region.
We have two main missions: to support companies in their digital transformation, and the second, which concerns us today, is the development of the quantum industry in Occitanie.
I've been doing this mission in particular in the development of the sector since 2018.
We knew G.A.C. Group by reputation in the innovation ecosystem, through research and other services for other sectors.
But it's rather as part of our drive to structure the quantum industry in Occitanie that we called on G.A.C. Group, notably for the skills they were able to bring together to respond to this study of the quantum industry - which isn't easy to find today, to find skills in quantum - but also for the feedback you had in the sector studies, and also your presence in the Occitanie region, which made a decisive choice.
We needed strategic support to help us better understand the stakes involved in the development of quantum computing, and to identify concrete use cases for companies and laboratories in our regional sectors.
The aim of our requirement was really to provide a roadmap for the Maison du Quantique, with a territorial and operational approach.
The benefits of G.A.C. Group's support were essentially to provide us with a clear analysis of the region's positioning, to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the ecosystem, to contribute its methodology for identifying strengths and weaknesses, and also to help us identify concrete use cases.
It was very important.
Secondly - and by no means least - given the current state of the industry, i.e. its emergence, is G.A.C. Group's ability to mobilize the right players and translate scientific issues into economic levers, to remain pragmatic for our stakeholders: manufacturers, scientists and public policy-makers.
Structuring, committed and operational.
Yes, without hesitation.
G.A.C. Group was a true partner for the duration of the study, and I don't think the partnership is over yet.
G.A.C. Group is a long-term partner.
To really develop this sector, we need methodology, we need skills, we need everything you've given us.
