Regionalized i-Demo call for projects: what is it about?
The French State and Regions have decided to join their efforts to support the development of innovation in the territories thanks to the France 2030 / PIA4 regionalized program.
The objective is to invest to accelerate collaborative projects of experimental development, of industrial research andinnovation with high added value for a market launch.
The device aims at strengthening a a partnership and sustainable industrial fabric between small, medium and large companies and, above all, economic benefits for SMEs.
Financial aid varies according to the region: up to 60% of eligible expenses and distributed in the form of a grant alone or a mix of grant and repayable advance.

The expected projects and the eligibility criteria are :
- Collaborative projects including at least 2 companies and 1 academic player, of which at least 1 is an SME or ETI. (NB: Depending on the region, large companies may or may not be allowed in consortia, may or may not be funded, and may or may not be leaders)
- Maximum 5 partners
- Budget between 1 and 4 M€. (NB: some regions authorize projects from 500 k€ to 1M€ for consortia of up to 3 intraregional actors)
- Indicative duration of 24 to 60 months
- Themes : related to the specialization strategy for your region
- Labeling by a competitive cluster is generally a strong asset.
What are the deadlines for submitting your application?
The call for projects closes on October 28, 2025 and intermediate reviews of applications are scheduled every 6 months.
