The 2023 edition came to a close during a event at Hub Bpifrance where the 3 prizewinners had the pleasure of pitching in front of all the guests. All those present were able to rate the 3 winners on a set of criteria. The final ranking determined the duration of the support offered by G.A.C. Group and its partners.
The 3 winners of the We Impact 2023 competition
Mindful of today's environmental and health challenges, Bioteos aims to combine nature and technology for the benefit of humankind. The company has developed multi-pollutant indoor air purifiers using the immense potential of microalgae. These modules have been specially designed for public indoor spaces such as subways, but also for offices and schools. Finally, the microalgae produced are then transformed back into biostimulants.
Aurizeo has designed the "Handinaute", the first universal electric motorization system that adapts to all wheelchairs without prior installation, thanks to a "plug&roll" system. This solution improves the daily lives of disabled people by breaking down isolation. The company offers customized products and user experiences that improve daily life through innovation, ergonomics and aesthetics.
#3 RT3C
RT3C's mission is to support radiotherapy centers in the field of medical physics. The company's latest project aims to optimize the use of X-ray doses in medical procedures. This involves the development of software which, thanks to advanced algorithms, enables doses to be precisely adjusted to maximize effectiveness while minimizing risks to the patient. These algorithms are designed in partnership with engineers from the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).
We Impact competition eligibility criteria
The project must be :
- Supported by a company or association created
- Focused onyear 2023 (started in 2023, in progress in 2023 or completed in 2023)
- Innovative product, service or process innovation
- Positive impact (environmental, social and economic dimensions)
The different stages of the 2023 competition
Once submissions were closed, the finalists were chosen by a jury of innovation experts. The finalists produced a short video presentation of their project to decide between them and select the 3 winners. The winners pitched their projects on Thursday October 19, 2023 at the Hub Bpifrance offices. during a dedicated evening.
