Tatjana A. Nazir, Director of Research (DR1) - CNRS-SCALab, University of Lille

Tatjana Nazir holds an Habilitation à diriger des recherches from the University of Lyon, France, and a PhD (Psychology) from Julius Maximilians University, Würzburg, Germany, and has devoted over three decades to research in cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience. Specializing in the study of embodied cognition, she has explored how the physical characteristics of our bodies influence human cognition and language. Through her research, she has demonstrated how language processing relies on sensory and motor systems. Currently, she is leading projects aimed at understanding and improving the integration of artificial social agents (robots) into society.
