Launch of ENRICH at USA East Coast Center

The official opening of ENRICH at the USA East Coast Center in Boston, MA, took place on October 10, 2018.
The Center, which is led by project partner InBIA, will provide information and support services to EU innovators and researchers looking to accelerate access and maximize growth opportunities in the US innovation ecosystem. The East Coast Center joins the ENRICH network, which includes a West Coast Center previously established in San Francisco. The Center is located at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) in downtown Boston, and offers services via the ENRICH network in the USA such as bootcamps, innovation tours, matchmaking events and hot desks for those selected following competitive calls for applications to be published on www.enrich-usa.eu.

Funded by the European Commission as part of Horizon 2020, ENRICH is a global network of centers and hubs focused on promoting the internationalization of European science, technology and innovation (STI).
ENRICH in the USA, the project focused specifically on internationalization in the USA, is coordinated by DLR with the support of inno TSD. It provides support services for the internationalization of high-impact research and innovation to European researchers and innovators, focusing on accelerating access to the US market and maximizing opportunities for collaboration and business growth. ENRICH also serves US-based entities interested in transatlantic research and business opportunities, including the identification of collaborative research partners, expansion into European markets and access to unique technologies/products developed by European innovators.

Dr Sébastien Farnaud, CEO of the MMDP Laboratory, and participant in the ENRICH Bootcamp, expressed his support for ENRICH and the new Center.
"The ENRICH program opens our eyes to the diversity and richness of the American market! It demystifies the cliché of impossible reach and demonstrates the willingness, need and benefit on both sides to strengthen this transatlantic bridge. With a large number of useful contacts, it's an experience beyond expectations, which for me marks the start of development on many levels," says Farnaud.
